About Beth:

Beth, an artist, herbalist, and writer, lives in Newport News, Virginia with her husband and their three exceptionally/profoundly gifted children. Their family has been homeschooling for nine years, a bumpy eclectic ride that led to their oldest son beginning college classes as a concurrent student at William and Mary when he was twelve.

As a freelance writer specializing in gifted education, Beth’s work appears in the Home Educator’s Association of Virginia’s new manual, Gifted Education Press Quarterly, and on the Davidson Institute’s PG Cybersource. Beth is currently working on several books about gifted education and homeschooling. If you would like to contribute your family’s stories to her books about early college classes for gifted children or college classes for homeschooled children, please contact her (see address below).

Beth is available as a speaker, offering workshops and lectures for homeschooling conferences and groups around the country. For a detailed list of her workshop and lecture topics, please contact her.
